Notes	A chilled out place to have American style food over beers and cocktails.

Lazybones is a chilled out place to eat South American style food. It offers chicken wings, pulled pork and beef brisket meals. Interestingly, there is popcorn served as if you were in the cinema. Fries and popcorn can be served in paper bags where you can add sauces and salt as you wish and then shake up. I saw a few girls do this and definitely gave off a nostalgic feeling. It reminded me of those crisps that require a packet of salt to be sprinkled and then you shake the packet.

This place gives off an American cool retro feeling as soon as you walk in. It is an ideal place to have snacks, a few drinks or a laid back lunch or dinner with friends. It would be a fun date night but things can get messy with the food – be warned.

Food is ordered by the bar first which is good as this avoids any waiting around by the table. The drinks menu on the board has an espresso martini that caught my eye but I chose to have a strawberry and lime cider, a lighter option. The chicken wings with sweet chilli was massive and came with a very sweet, tangy, sesame oil and garlic flavour sauce. This I enjoyed very much as the sauce was very aromatic. Supposedly I thought they were going to be small wings but these were big. I then moved on to the pulled pork but was less impressed as the flavour combinations for me was too peppery and this lingered on my tongue from every bite. The pork was soft but  I was less impressed with the flavours. The slaw was better and so was the bread bun. The beef brisket was not as tender and was coupled with Mexican flavours - not what I was expecting.

The large fries are giant size and come without salt. Very tasty and moreish! I am happy to see more restaurants now giving the option to customers to season their fries - keep this going. Not all of us like salty fries .

The prices are reasonable at £7.95 for pulled pork bun and large fries to be shared between two or three people at £5.The service was efficient and friendly. It will certainly attract those after a meaty grub and then a few beers to wash it down - a laddish night out perhaps.
